THERAPY, CONSULTATION
Melissa Grandberg
M.Ed., RCT-C
“Sometimes the break in your heart, is like the hole in the flute. Sometimes it’s the place where the music comes through.”
I am committed to providing a space of unconditional acceptance and empowerment. This is a space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and understood, free to explore your experiences, slow down and share all that you have been carrying. My style is warm, gentle, and compassionate, grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through genuine connection.
Our struggles do not happen in isolation, and neither does our healing. We are shaped by our histories, relationships, cultural contexts, and the broader systems we move through. I hold that context with care. I bring an anti-oppressive, neuro-affirming, sex- and kink-positive, and trauma-informed lens to my work.
I work from a strengths-based, integrative approach, drawing on various modalities and therapeutic approaches — always with intention and adapting to what resonates with you and what you need right now. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity and compassion.
Counselling – Adolescents (13+) and adults
What I love about counselling:
Therapy offers a space for both change and stillness — for possibility and for simply being known, seen, and accepted in one's entirety. I believe all healing is reciprocal; we learn, grow, and heal alongside one another, rippling outward to shape not only individual lives but relationships and communities. I am continually privileged and grateful to witness the remarkable capacity of people to navigate transition, uncertainty, and growth — and to be reminded that none of us are alone in our human experience.
