THERAPY, ASSESSMENT, CONSULTATION, CLINICAL SUPERVISION

“Sometimes, just being yourself is a radical act. When you occupy space in systems that weren’t built for you, your authenticity is activism.”
I am committed to providing a space for clients that is filled with unconditional positive regard, equity, acceptance, and empowerment as each client defines their needs and desired journeys toward flourishing. In addition to expertise in assessment and supervision, I have specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Gottman Couples Interventions, Feminist and Multicultural perspectives, arts and play-based approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness practices. I work from an integrative approach, prioritizing self-determination and a strength-based focus while embedding a recognition and examination of how systems and relationships impact individual health, well-being, and thriving.
Assessment – children 4+ and adults; Counselling – children 12+, adults, and couples; Supervision – students, candidates, and counsellors across their career
What I love about counselling:
I love witnessing the remarkable strength of the human spirit and believe the most incredible progress can be made when I can get out of the way and let my clients lead us through our work. The capacity of individuals and couples to adapt in times of life transition and chaos leaves me with deep awe and gratitude to be a therapist. With an open heart and mind, I believe I benefit from each session just as much or more than my clients, who are my greatest teachers.
