THERAPY, CONSULTATION

The wound is the place where the Light enters you.
— Rumi

I believe that our wounds hold immense potential for growth and that we are all innately capable of healing and wholeness. Grounded in this conviction, my counselling style is gentle and compassionate, geared to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their struggles, cultivate self-acceptance, and foster personal and relational growth. My approach is primarily attachment-based, relational, and depth-oriented, and is informed by specialized training in sandtray therapy, the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model, and Internal Family Systems.

I’m passionate about social change and equally fascinated by the workings of the human mind and the heart. These passions led me to the study of politics, philosophy, and eventually psychotherapy. I bring my rich life experiences and interdisciplinary education to my work as a therapist. Having lived in several different countries before moving to Canada eighteen years ago, I’m culturally responsive and offer counselling in English and Ukrainian. As a social justice advocate, inspired by the strength of Indigenous, Black, and 2SLGBTQ+ people, I am committed to building inclusive communities that foster health and wellness.

Counselling – individuals, couples, adults, and teens

What I love about counselling:

For me, counselling is a way of making a difference in people’s lives through meaningful connections. I was also drawn to this work because I have benefited from counselling on numerous occasions as a client. Having experienced firsthand the transformative effect of good therapy, I feel honoured to be able to contribute to this form of personal and social change.
