THERAPY, CONSULTATION

Jordan Sheridan

M.Ed., PhD., RCT-C

And did you get what
You wanted from this life, even so?
I did.
And what did you want?
To call myself beloved, to feel myself
beloved on the earth.
— "Late Fragment,” by Raymond Chandler

My therapeutic approach focuses on building client resilience, expanding resources, and empowering the client to shift away from thought patterns that are disruptive or upsetting. I have received training in Narrative Therapy. I support pre-teens, teens, and adults with depression, loss and grief, anxiety, self-esteem, gender identity, relationships, and family dynamics. While working part-time in private practice, I am also a faculty member in the Counselling Program at Acadia University.
